Austrolestes cingulatus  

A male Metallic Ringtail.

After traversing a concrete ford across the Queanbeyan River I made a quick stop to check out the wildlife in the waterside vegetation and located Common Bluetail, Common Flatwing and Metallic Ringtail damselflies, several other insects, plus an unidentified dragonfly I lost sight of and could not relocate.
